Dries Mertens Cheap?
Manchester United and Liverpool have been informed of the Dries Mertens sales clause, which is considered cheap.
The 30-year-old attacker has been able to develop into one of the most potent players in Europe after scoring 28 goals in 35 appearances last season with Partenopei.
And on the previous night, the born figure in Belgium had scored one of the stunning goals in a 4-1 victory over Lazio.
Local media said if Mertens had a sales clause of about 26.4 million pounds or equivalent to 30 million euros, which is quite affordable for most of Europe’s top clubs.
The report says The Red Devils and The Reds are shocked and almost can not believe how low the Mertens clause, which could be triggered next summer and applies only to clubs outside Italy.
Claimed if United held talks with Mertens before the end of last season but was unable to reach an agreement with Napoli.
